Router

Routers support only the .conf format. Import via the device web UI or supported WireGuard import.

.vpn

AmneziaVPN

The .vpn format is for AmneziaVPN (version 4.8.12.9 or newer is required for .vpn; older releases cannot open .vpn). The AmneziaVPN app also supports .conf configuration imports.

.conf

AmneziaWG

The AmneziaWG app uses .conf — import the configuration file in the app.

Version requirements

AmneziaVPN below 4.8.12.9 does not support the .vpn format — update the app. AmneziaVPN also supports .conf. For routers and AmneziaWG use .conf.
